Bacterial Vaginosis is a common vaginal infection caused by an imbalance in naturally occurring bacterial flora. Symptoms include discharge, odour, and itching. Bacterial Vaginosis can increase susceptibility to other infections and complications during pregnancy. Diagnosis is through clinical examination and laboratory tests, with treatment involving antibiotics to restore bacterial balance.
