Cauda Equina Syndrome
Cauda equina syndrome is a serious condition caused by compression of the cauda equina nerves at the lower end of the spinal cord. Symptoms include severe lower back pain, urinary/faecal incontinence, and leg weakness. Prompt medical intervention is critical to prevent permanent nerve damage and/or paralysis.
