Chronic Sinusitis
Chronic sinusitis is a condition where the sinuses remain inflamed for 12 weeks or more, despite treatment attempts. It causes nasal congestion, facial pain, reduced sense of smell, and thick nasal mucus. Chronic sinusitis often arises from ongoing infections, nasal polyps, or deviated septum. Treatments include medications and sometimes surgery.
