Haemochromatosis
Haemochromatosis is a genetic disorder causing the body to absorb excessive iron from food. This iron accumulates in organs, particularly the liver, heart, and pancreas, potentially leading to organ damage. Early diagnosis of haemochromatosis can prevent complications. Symptoms often include fatigue, joint pain, and bronze or grey skin pigmentation. Treatment typically involves regular blood removal.
