Heartburn
Heartburn is a burning sensation in the chest caused by stomach acid refluxing into the oesophagus. Common triggers include spicy foods, caffeine, and stress. Heartburn can be managed with dietary changes and over-the-counter medications. Persistent heartburn may indicate gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD) and requires medical evaluation.
