Interstitial Cystitis

Interstitial cystitis is a chronic bladder condition causing bladder pressure, bladder pain, and sometimes pelvic pain. The severity of interstitial cystitis symptoms ranges from mild discomfort to severe pain. Unlike cystitis caused by bacterial infection, interstitial cystitis does not respond to antibiotics. Its cause is unknown, and treatments focus on symptom relief.
