Kyphosis is a spinal disorder characterised by an abnormal forward curvature of the upper back. Common in the elderly, kyphosis can result from poor posture, vertebral fractures, or degenerative diseases. Symptoms include back pain and stiffness. Treatments for kyphosis range from physical therapy to surgery based on severity.
