Molluscum Contagiosum
Molluscum contagiosum is a viral skin infection causing painless, firm, round bumps. It is caused by the molluscum contagiosum virus (MCV) and spreads through direct contact or contaminated objects. This condition is common in children and immunocompromised individuals. Molluscum contagiosum usually resolves without treatment in six to twelve months.
