Motor Neurone Disease
Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a progressive neurological disorder affecting nerve cells that control voluntary muscles. It leads to muscle weakness, atrophy, and eventually paralysis. Common forms of MND include Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). There is currently no cure for Motor Neurone Disease, which typically has a poor prognosis.
