Neurofibromatosis Type 2
Neurofibromatosis Type 2 is a genetic disorder characterised by the growth of non-cancerous tumours on the nervous system, particularly affecting the brain and spinal cord. Symptoms typically appear in adolescence or early adulthood and include hearing loss, balance issues, and vision problems. Neurofibromatosis Type 2 is caused by mutations in the NF2 gene.
