Plantar Fasciitis
Plantar fasciitis is an inflammation of the plantar fascia, a thick band of tissue that runs across the bottom of your foot connecting your heel bone to your toes. It commonly causes stabbing heel pain, especially in the morning. Plantar fasciitis affects runners and those who are overweight or wear improper shoes.
