Swollen Knee
Swollen knee occurs when excess fluid accumulates around the knee joint. Causes include injuries, arthritis, and infections. Symptoms are pain, stiffness, redness, and reduced mobility. Treatment for a swollen knee may involve rest, ice, compression, elevation, and medications. In severe cases, medical procedures might be required to alleviate discomfort.
