Twins
Twins are siblings born from the same pregnancy. They can be identical, sharing the same genetic makeup, or fraternal, resulting from two separate eggs fertilised by different sperm. Twins occur naturally or via assisted reproductive technology. They face unique health considerations, such as twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome and shared prenatal risks.
