In my last year of study I worked pitch side with Summner rugby development team. For the past 2 and half years I was working in my home town Tauranga at a private practice. Here I also was a reformer Pilates strength instructor. I also worked as the lead physiotherapist for Te Puna rugby club for the past 3 seasons. I have had the amazing opportunity to work pitch side for national rugby sevens tournaments among other sporting events

I completed my physiotherapy degree in Australia in 2016, and went straight to work in a private practice treating a range of musculoskeletal injuries as well as taking group Pilates classes. I was also training at the time as a professional netballer with the Adelaide Thunderbirds, while being able to treat other professional netballers in that elite training environment. This allowed me to treat ACL injuries and other common sporting issues. I love working with athletes of all levels, getting them back to their desired sport and working collectively towards their goals.

I have recently worked under leading world class orthopaedic surgeons to facilitate protocols and assist with pre and post op rehabilitation of high-profile athletes; including academy and premier league footballers and rugby league. I also have a keen interest in working amongst the paediatric age group and have experience with young athletes. I have worked within the NHS public sector as well as the equivalent public health sector in Australia prior to moving to the United Kingdom. I am very excited to join Six Physio to further pursue my interest in manual therapy, hand therapy, sports rehabilitation and clinical pilates. I have a keen interest in upper limb and hand patients, and have worked with upper limb orthopaedic surgeries at the Cromwell Hospital prior to my time at Six. I also have a level II certificate in fitness and in my spare time, you will either find me travelling, at the gym, drinking coffee or whipping up some clean treats in the kitchen.

After Graduating in 2009, I spent 3 months volunteering in Nepal and then moved to Australia where I had the opportunity to develop skills rotating in acute and chronic settings both in public and private hospitals. Since then, I have worked in private outpatient clinics where I have become experienced in treating musculoskeletal pathologies and rehabilitating Clients towards their goal, whether it be to get back to rugby games on Sunday or to participate in the Olympics! I am a Pelvic Health Specialist and have carried out Postgraduate specialist training. I enjoy facilitating women and men with their continence, reducing pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction and carry out ante natal and postnatal assessments. I love to see individuals back to a full recovery so they can do what they love to do, it is highly rewarding. You will also catch me in the Pilates studio as I am an APPI Clinical Pilates instructor and I enjoy regularly teaching Pilates for Six.

I was lucky enough to land an administration role in a small accounting firm back in New Zealand where I worked my way up and became a Client Manager. I developed many new personal and work skills from this job over the few years I was there and was fortunate to have been given the opportunity to work for them remotely over here in the UK whilst I travel and settle into London

I graduated from the University of Technology Sydney with a Masters of Physiotherapy and a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science. I worked in a sports MSK clinic in Sydney, Australia as well as the orthopaedic ward of a private hospital. I love travelling, playing sports and socialising with friends. My interest in Physiotherapy stemmed from many years of observing and experiencing injuries while playing competitive sport.
